Frenchies, usually cannot swim, and drown easily. However, they enjoy playing and wallowing in shallow water when the weather is hot.

Above, is Whitney, who has a dogster.com page. Frenchies are mainly indoor pets and need cool shade in warm weather. They cannot exercise for long in the hot sun and require air conditioning in warm climates.

"The neighborhood kids are cheering on "their" puppy to finish eating first. When the pups are older, each child has a bowl of food, and they call the puppies back and forth to eat. This gets a recall started, and associates mealtime with kids' voices."
